Protecting customers, staff, networks and other internet users. These rules apply to use of TIN services and supplement the product terms.

01. Lawful and authorised use.
Use only accounts, systems, content and network resources you are authorised to access. Do not use services for fraud, impersonation, infringement, unlawful content, credential theft or attempts to evade lawful restrictions. Do not scan, disrupt or test another system without its owner’s authorisation. Security research must have an agreed lawful scope.
02. Spam, malware and harmful traffic.
Do not distribute malware, host phishing pages, operate botnets, carry out denial-of-service attacks or relay unsolicited bulk communications. Marketing messages require a lawful basis and a usable opt-out. Purchased contact lists do not automatically establish consent. Keep mailing systems, website forms and applications protected against abuse.
03. Bullying, threats, stalking and harassment.
Do not use services to threaten, stalk, harass or abuse a person, publish private information unlawfully, or coordinate harmful conduct. Report an urgent safety threat to the appropriate authorities as well as the platform concerned. This rule does not prohibit lawful criticism, a consumer complaint or a good-faith report of misconduct.
04. Resource use and resale.
Observe the resource limits, permitted devices, location restrictions and usage conditions disclosed for your package. Do not bypass controls, misuse shared resources or resell a service where your agreement does not allow it. We will assess a suspected breach using relevant evidence and discuss an appropriate remedy or package where practical.
05. Reports, investigation and action.
Report suspected abuse to support@tinsolutions.co.za with relevant URLs, account or message references, dates and supporting facts. Do not send malware attachments, passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. We will assess the report, preserve appropriate evidence and seek clarification where needed. A report alone does not establish that a violation occurred.
We may restrict an affected service proportionately to address an established breach or immediate risk, subject to contractual notice, applicable law and the general suspension terms. Urgent containment does not justify unrelated deletion. We will explain action and available steps to resolve it where lawful and practicable.
06. Privacy and lawful disclosure.
Investigation records and any disclosure to a provider or authority must have a lawful basis and be limited to the purpose. We do not promise anonymity for unlawful activity or unrestricted disclosure of customer records. Our Privacy Policy explains requests, sharing and complaint rights.
