Website build fees, hosting and care explained
Understand the once-off build, recurring hosting and care, domain renewal and optional work in a TIN website package.
The build fee covers a defined project
A website package defines the content pages, store setup where included, branding and revision rounds. The build fee covers that agreed work. Additional pages, variation products and custom systems need an agreed scope. Your content, access and review responsibilities affect the schedule.
Hosting and care are recurring
The monthly charge covers the package’s named Linux hosting plan and stated care allocation. Starter Presence uses Linux Startup, Business Pro uses Linux Professional, and E-Commerce Growth uses Linux Business. Website, database and email storage share the plan’s total capacity.
Know the first payment
Standard online checkout charges the full build fee plus the first month of hosting and care. A 50/50 split of the build fee is available through a separately agreed written milestone quote. Confirm monthly charges and payment dates in that quote before work begins.
Check renewals and provider charges
A new eligible .co.za registration is included for the first year in the website packages; renewal is separate from year two. Third-party licences, payment transaction charges, merchant accounts and courier provider fees are separate where applicable. TIN Solutions is not VAT-registered.
